Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and digital chart updates via our remote-friendly EHR system
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Deliver post-procedure instructions and patient education remotely
- Coordinate with dental teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix EHR systems for remote tasks
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently in hybrid settings
- CPR certification (BLS preferred)
- Valid Arizona state dental radiography license
