Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders through our digital platform
- Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing
- Maintain precise electronic health records and inventory systems
- Provide telehealth support to patients regarding medication inquiries
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all federal, state, and pharmacy board regulations
- Support quality control initiatives and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years pharmacy experience (retail or hospital)
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Basic understanding of HIPAA compliance protocols
