Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process prescription orders through our digital pharmacy platform
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations
- Maintain precise medication inventory and ordering systems
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of pharmacy tech experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and interactions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (Pharmacy Tech certification preferred)
