Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures in clinical settings
- Process and label specimens following strict protocols and HIPAA guidelines
- Utilize EHR systems remotely for data entry and inventory management
- Maintain sterile equipment and infection control standards
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with healthcare teams via telehealth platforms for case coordination
- Conduct quality assurance audits remotely and on-site
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Texas Phlebotomy Technician license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in telehealth software and EHR systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
