Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections at patient homes and designated sites
- Coordinate with telehealth teams to ensure seamless specimen processing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and inventory management
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA compliance standards for safety and accuracy
- Train patients on at-home collection procedures when applicable
- Collaborate with remote lab technicians for real-time result verification
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or AMT)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and mobile health apps
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
