Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort
- Process and handle specimens according to strict laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with remote healthcare teams for seamless patient care coordination
- Train on telehealth administrative tools for appointment management
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT or PBT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy or related field
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen handling
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision support
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
