- Provide pre-visit patient education and post-visit follow-ups
- Process lab orders and medication refill requests
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient care plans
- Conduct remote vital sign monitoring via connected devices
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant data security protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical or telehealth experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth preferred)
- Strong computer skills with reliable high-speed internet
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA and telehealth compliance regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
