Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, vitals assessment, and medical history reviews via telehealth platforms.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care schedules.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or administrative medical setting.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate remote work software (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients remotely.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
