Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescriptions via remote digital systems
- Manage inventory and supply chain coordination for Newark-area facilities
- Provide telepharmaceutical support to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical reviews and medication therapy
- Document patient interactions and medication history in secure EHR systems
- Support medication reconciliation for chronic care patients
Qualifications
- Active NJ Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for remote interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and healthcare privacy laws
