As a Remote Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of virtual healthcare, managing patient assessments, coordinating care, and providing vital support to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and triage via secure telehealth video and phone calls.
- Manage patient care plans and document clinical notes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate follow-up care and facilitate communication between patients and physicians.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, medications, and disease prevention.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and state nursing practice acts.
- Monitor patient status and escalate urgent medical issues to on-site providers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate telehealth software platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
