Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough remote patient assessments via phone/video consultations
- Prioritize cases using standardized triage protocols and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with providers to coordinate urgent care interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide patient education on symptoms and care pathways
- Manage high-volume call centers during peak hours
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS/Certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proven telehealth or remote nursing experience
- Expertise in clinical decision-making and emergency protocols
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation skills
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
