Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments via telehealth platform
- Determine medical urgency and prioritize patient care needs
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with providers
- Document clinical encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Coordinate care transitions between facilities and providers
- Provide health education and self-management guidance
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- 3+ years clinical nursing experience
- Triage or emergency medicine background
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
