Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and symptom analysis via phone or secure video consultation.
- Utilize clinical decision-making skills to determine appropriate treatment plans and recommend emergency services when necessary.
- Document patient interactions accurately and securely in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and wellness coaching to promote long-term health management.
- Stay current with clinical guidelines, protocols, and telehealth best practices.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a triage, urgent care, or telehealth setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience navigating electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict protocols and quality assurance standards.
