Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth calls and determine appropriate care urgency
- Provide expert clinical guidance and health education to patients
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Handle after-hours calls and weekend rotations as assigned
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and telehealth regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience
- Previous triage or telehealth experience strongly preferred
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and empathy abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
