Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and clinical progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to infection control protocols.
- Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine commitment to patient advocacy.
- Willingness to complete all required orientation and training programs.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
