Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Document patient care plans and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
