Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Vision: Create and communicate a long-term architectural strategy that aligns with business goals and industry trends.
- Lead System Design: Design scalable, resilient, and secure microservices architectures capable of handling future growth.
- Technical Roadmap Execution: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize initiatives and deliver the 2026 roadmap on time.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership through rigorous code reviews and mentorship of junior and senior engineers.
- Cloud & DevOps Leadership: Oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure deployment excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Architecture: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices.
- Programming: Proficiency in modern languages such as Go, Java, or Python, with a strong understanding of software design patterns.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading engineering teams through complex transformations and technical debt reduction.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think beyond the immediate sprint and design for the long-term horizon (2026+).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-level executives.
