The Role
You will lead a cross-functional team of machine learning engineers and product designers to build robust, scalable, and safe AI agents capable of complex decision-making. You will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and practical, production-grade deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, agentic AI workflows that operate autonomously in dynamic environments.
- Lead the technical strategy for integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Mentor senior engineers and junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Implement rigorous testing and validation protocols to ensure system safety and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate 2026 tech roadmaps into actionable technical specifications.
- Optimize system performance and reduce inference costs for large-scale deployments.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, specifically focusing on the evolution of AI safety and alignment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in AI/ML architecture.
- Deep expertise in Python, Rust, or C++ and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale machine learning models to production.
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and graph databases.
- Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment is highly preferred.
