Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Lead the full lifecycle of AI development, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model evaluation and productionization.
- Optimize existing models for latency, throughput, and scalability on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in the AI community and implement novel techniques to improve model performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or applied machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and MLOps tools (Docker, Kubeflow, MLflow).
- Deep understanding of NLP (Transformers, BERT, GPT architectures) or Computer Vision (CNNs, Diffusion Models).
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade AI products.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
