Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and deploying large-scale Transformer models.
- Optimize model inference latency and throughput using techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation.
- Research and prototype novel architectures to enhance model accuracy and reduce hallucination rates.
- Collaborate with data science teams to curate high-quality training datasets and implement robust evaluation metrics.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Applied AI.
- Proficiency in Python and deep frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, and vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus).
- Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts, specifically BERT, GPT, and Llama architectures.
