Job Description
We are on the precipice of the Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) era. By 2026, the integration of autonomous agents into daily life will redefine the concept of digital rights. Nexus Horizon is seeking a visionary Senior AI Governance & Ethics Strategist to lead our efforts in ensuring the responsible deployment of next-generation generative models. You will be the architect of our ethical framework, ensuring that our technological advancements align with human values, regulatory standards, and societal expectations.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical architectures and legal/philosophical implications. You will shape the policies that govern how AI interacts with the global economy, healthcare systems, and creative industries. If you are passionate about the future of technology and possess the strategic foresight to navigate its moral landscape, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop the 'Responsible AI 2026' Charter: Establish a comprehensive ethical framework that guides the development and deployment of all Nexus Horizon AI systems, focusing on fairness, transparency, and accountability.
- Conduct Algorithmic Impact Assessments (AIAs): Lead deep-dive evaluations of our neural network architectures to identify and mitigate potential biases, hallucinations, and safety risks before production deployment.
- Partner with Global Legal Teams: Translate complex AI capabilities into compliant regulatory language, ensuring alignment with emerging global data privacy laws and AI ethics mandates.
- Advocate for User Digital Rights: Design and implement mechanisms that empower users to understand, audit, and control their data interactions with autonomous AI agents.
- Lead Cross-Functional Workshops: Educate engineers, product managers, and executives on the ethical implications of technical decisions, fostering a culture of 'ethics by design'.
- Monitor Regulatory Landscape: Proactively analyze international trends in AI regulation (e.g., EU AI Act, US Executive Orders) to adapt our internal governance structures dynamically.
Qualifications
- Advanced Education: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Law, Philosophy, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics.
- Strategic Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI policy, ethics governance, or regulatory compliance within a high-tech or Fortune 500 environment.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of Generative AI (LLMs, Diffusion Models), Machine Learning lifecycles, and the specific vulnerabilities associated with large-scale neural networks.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to communicate complex ethical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the public.
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of resolving high-stakes ethical dilemmas in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Global Perspective: Familiarity with international data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and cross-cultural compliance requirements.
