Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and deep learning architectures that scale to billions of data points.
- Optimization: Optimize inference pipelines and model latency to ensure real-time performance in mission-critical environments.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct high-level research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate complex data into actionable business intelligence.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all deployed models adhere to strict ethical guidelines and bias mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong portfolio of deployed production models.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is required.
- Mathematics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability/statistics.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems with creative engineering solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
