Responsibilities
- Model Development & Architecture: Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models, including LLMs and computer vision systems, to solve complex business problems.
- System Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize model inference, reduce latency, and improve the scalability of AI infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical innovation within the team.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and integrate novel techniques into our production pipelines.
- Data Pipeline Management: Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- AI/ML Expertise: Strong understanding of NLP, Transformers, or Computer Vision architectures. Experience with fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama) is highly desirable.
- Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) for model deployment and MLOps.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
