Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Spearhead the development of novel algorithms and deep learning architectures focused on multimodal AI and reasoning capabilities.
- Model Optimization: Design and implement efficient training pipelines for large-scale models, optimizing for speed, accuracy, and energy efficiency.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of researchers and engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices for machine learning research.
- Deployment Strategy: Work closely with the MLOps team to transition research prototypes into production-ready, reliable systems.
- Paper Publication: Publish original research in top-tier conferences and journals to establish thought leadership in the AI community.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex challenges in natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning depending on the project focus.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning research or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Strong understanding of deep learning frameworks and optimization techniques.
- Language Model Knowledge: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, or Diffusion models is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation: A track record of innovation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
