Responsibilities
- Architect and train state-of-the-art foundation models, focusing on scaling laws and efficiency.
- Optimize transformer architectures for low-latency inference and high-throughput processing.
- Develop and refine Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance model factual accuracy.
- Pioneer research into AI safety, alignment, and interpretability to ensure robust deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research models into scalable production environments.
- Lead technical deep-dives and mentor junior researchers within the AI division.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Reinforcement Learning.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) or open-source contributions to Hugging Face.
- Deep understanding of attention mechanisms, transformer models, and LLM fine-tuning techniques.
- Experience with distributed training frameworks (Ray, Horovod) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
