Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior AI Research Scientist to lead our initiative in defining the technological landscape of 2026. At Nexus Horizon Labs, we are not just predicting the future; we are architecting it. You will be at the forefront of developing next-generation Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and quantum-neural interfaces that will redefine human-machine collaboration.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical machine learning breakthroughs and practical, scalable systems. You will work in a high-performance environment focused on ethical AI development, autonomous decision-making systems, and the convergence of neural networks with quantum computing.
Why Join Us?
- Work on mission-critical projects that will impact billions by 2026.
- Access to state-of-the-art compute resources and quantum processing units.
- Competitive compensation package and equity options.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core algorithms for autonomous AGI systems with a focus on reasoning and long-term planning.
- Collaborate with quantum computing engineers to integrate quantum gates into deep neural networks.
- Lead the research and development of natural language processing models capable of nuanced, multi-turn dialogue.
- Mentor a team of junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific rigor.
- Publish high-impact research papers in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) and contribute to open-source AI ecosystems.
- Evaluate and optimize model performance for real-time, edge-based deployment in 2026 infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field with a focus on AI/ML.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning research or a comparable senior engineering role.
- Deep expertise in Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and programming languages (Python, C++).
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier venues or patents in AI/ML.
- Experience with quantum machine learning (QML) concepts or hybrid quantum-classical algorithms is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of ethical AI principles, fairness, and bias mitigation in large-scale models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
