Job Description
We are not just building software for today; we are architecting the digital reality of 2026. Nexus Horizons is seeking a visionary Senior AI & Spatial Interface Engineer to lead our charge into the immersive web era. If you are passionate about the convergence of Generative AI, Spatial Computing, and WebXR, and you want to define the standards of the next decade, this is your opportunity.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex Large Language Models (LLMs) and immersive 3D environments. You will build systems that feel less like applications and more like extensions of human consciousness.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy high-performance spatial web experiences using WebXR and Three.js for head-mounted displays and future-ready AR glasses.
- Integrate and fine-tune Generative AI models (e.g., GPT-4, Llama 3) to create real-time, context-aware digital assistants within spatial interfaces.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 120fps performance in complex 3D scenes with millions of dynamic elements.
- Develop robust backend microservices in Python and TypeScript to handle high-velocity data streams from edge devices.
- Collaborate with UX researchers to translate intuitive human behaviors into code for gesture-based and eye-tracking interactions.
- Lead code reviews and mentor a team of rising stars in next-gen frontend development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on WebGL, React, and Node.js.
- Proven experience with Spatial Computing frameworks (e.g., WebXR, A-Frame) or experience shipping AR/VR products.
- Deep understanding of Machine Learning concepts, specifically prompt engineering and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Experience optimizing 3D assets and shaders for mobile and desktop environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
