Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication administration
- Monitor vital signs and document client health observations
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping and errands as needed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate with family members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy when working with seniors
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
