Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Administer medications and assist with mobility transfers
- Light housekeeping and errand services
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Follow individualized care plans with precision
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- New Mexico Caregiver Certification or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
