Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Offer companionship through engaging conversations and recreational activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and report health changes to clinical supervisors
- Ensure safe home environment by assisting with light housekeeping duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA/HHA certification
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
