Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictionsAdminister medications and monitor vital signsEngage clients in meaningful activities and companionshipTransport clients to medical appointments and social outingsMaintain detailed care logs and communicate with family membersImplement personalized care plans with clinical oversight
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- New York State Home Health Aide certification (HHA)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
