Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinator
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe living environment
- Administer medication reminders and follow care plans precisely
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and emotional support
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Patience, empathy, and genuine passion for senior care
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
