Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary requirements
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping tasks and home organization
- Administer medication reminders and basic health monitoring
- Provide companionship and emotional support to combat loneliness
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate with family members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Milwaukee
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
