Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management
- Monitor clients' health status and report changes to medical professionals and family members
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain organized, safe living environments
- Engage clients in meaningful companionship activities to promote emotional well-being
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with dementia, mobility challenges, or chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate care documentation and communicate effectively with care team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years professional caregiving experience with verifiable references
- Current Texas state certification as Home Health Aide or CNA
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with exceptional patience and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Experience working with clients with Alzheimer's/dementia preferred
