Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Monitor vital signs and document health changes accurately
- Maintain clean, safe home environments for clients
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- DC Health Care Worker Registration (or willingness to obtain)
