Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology and innovation strategy roadmap through rigorous scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Produce comprehensive horizon scanning reports with actionable insights for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to capture emerging opportunities
- Design and implement organizational resilience frameworks for rapid adaptation to paradigm shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of proactive innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting with proven impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, climate tech)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
