Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and publish annual technology foresight reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present technology roadmaps to stakeholders including investors and product leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and conduct technology forecasting workshops
- Analyze competitive landscapes and disruptor threats in emerging tech sectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech integration, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
- Experience building and leading cross-functional innovation teams
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
