Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends, patent filings, and academic research to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on 2026 technology horizons
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable energy
- Strong background in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or relevant field preferred
- Experience presenting at global tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or patented innovations
