Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, AI autonomy)
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports with actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to track paradigm-shifting research
- Design and execute innovation sprints focused on 2026 market readiness initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of domain experts
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and investor community
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or futurist certification)
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications or journals
