Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year vision for 2026 implementation
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align on future-state scenarios
- Author foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for stakeholder decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype emerging technologies and validate market viability
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience working with AI, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
