Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year time horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable product initiatives
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation pipeline maturity and ROI
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging trends and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Experience managing innovation pipelines in tech or Fortune 500 environments
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts and strategic impact
