Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, trend analysis, and quantitative forecasting methodologies
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate future-ready innovations into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that cultivate future-focused thinking across all organizational levels
- Produce executive-ready reports translating complex future projections into actionable business recommendations
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Advise leadership on regulatory implications, ethical considerations, and competitive positioning for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in innovation strategy, technology foresight, or corporate planning
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and quantitative forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3 ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation pipelines from concept to execution
