Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives identifying technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Author influential thought leadership reports and trend briefings for Fortune 500 clients
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future-proofing business models
- Analyze global megatrends (demographics, climate, geopolitics) for competitive advantage
- Represent the company at Davos, SXSW, and premier futurist forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and public speaking
- Published author in futurist publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
