Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead AI-driven innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership quarterly
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global tech forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership at tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Published research in peer-reviewed foresight journals or equivalent industry recognition
- Advanced proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Delphi platforms)
- Experience with patent portfolio development and IP commercialization
- Ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Strong background in sustainable development and ESG frameworks
