Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year strategic foresight initiatives identifying disruptive trends in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop future scenario models and roadmaps for emerging technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and external industry forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation sprints and hackathons focused on solving future challenges
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in strategic methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Strong background in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with executive presence and public speaking abilities
- PhD or Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in technology innovation or future studies
