Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and emerging technological paradigms
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams to translate foresight into execution
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-focused authority
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology impact assessment, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive-level influence
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or industry platforms
- Experience leading global teams and managing complex stakeholder ecosystems
