Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech verticals
- Lead scenario planning for societal shifts driven by AI autonomy and neuro interfaces
- Partner with C-suite to align corporate strategy with emerging technological inflection points
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prototyping cycles
- Author 'State of the Future' reports influencing industry policy and investment
- Mentor futurist apprentices through our proprietary 'Horizon Scanning' methodology
- Represent Nexus at Davos, TED, and global innovation summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., S-Curve analysis)
- Executive experience scaling innovation labs from concept to market
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review
- Security clearance for government collaborative projects preferred
