Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and societal trends to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ strategic foresight framework with quarterly trend briefings for executive leadership
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating emerging tech with business objectives across 5 product verticals
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, marketing, and product teams to embed foresight into development cycles
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-driven scenario modeling and impact assessments
- Lead 'Future Labs' - immersive innovation sprints prototyping solutions for 2026 market landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating emerging tech trends into commercial innovation at Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience to C-suite audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their market implications
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives with measurable ROI impact
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals, industry conferences)
