Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech sectors
- Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year strategic projections
- Present future scenario briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype emerging technology applications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops for cross-functional teams
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology megatrends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative forecasting models
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (GenAI, synthetic biology, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published work in innovation or futures publications (e.g., Futures, TechCrunch)
- Experience leading cross-cultural innovation initiatives
