Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and societal patterns to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market readiness
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into viable product/service blueprints
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and emerging tech startups
- Create executive-level foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for board presentations
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational culture of experimental innovation
- Monitor and evaluate the ROI of innovation initiatives using quantitative and qualitative metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation roles
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech or future studies (e.g., IEEE, World Future Society)
- Proven experience implementing futuristic concepts in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, climate tech
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and stakeholder management expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic innovations
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique) preferred
